Al-Subaihi Stresses Importance of Enhancing Performance of Ministry of Youth and Sports

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Lieutenant General Mahmoud Salem al-Subaihi has emphasized importance of improving the performance of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and exerting more efforts to enhance performance across its various sectors and affiliated bodies.

During his meeting Tuesday with Minister of Youth and Sports Nayef al-Bakri, Lt. Gen. al-Subaihi stressed the importance of focusing on youth as an active and central force in building society and shaping the future.

The Presidential Leadership Council member listened to a detailed briefing from the Minister on the ministry’s workflow, implemented youth and sports programs and activities, including youth camps, cultural and sports events, as well as the ministry’s efforts in supporting young people and developing their creative talents.

The briefing also covered projects to rehabilitate sports facilities and train personnel in ways that serve youth and society.

Al-Subaihi emphasized the need to double efforts in implementing youth and sports programs, overcome challenges and difficulties facing the ministry’s work, and strengthen partnerships with relevant entities both locally and internationally.

He also directed the leadership of the Ministry of Youth and Sports to follow up on implementing plans and programs aimed at raising the readiness of youth and sports facilities and providing a suitable environment to showcase young talents and creativity.

He affirmed the support of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government for the ministry’s efforts in serving youth and developing their capabilities.

For his part, the Minister of Youth and Sports affirmed the ministry’s commitment to developing its youth and sports programs and activities, expanding camps and events, and supporting youth talents and creativity in various fields.
