The death toll from the ongoing Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,117, with 171,801 others injured, according to health authorities in Gaza.
In a statement issued Tuesday, the Ministry of Health in Gaza said hospitals across the Strip received one fatality and three injured individuals over the past 24 hours as a result of Israeli fire.
The ministry noted that since the ceasefire declared in October last year, a total of 633 people have been killed and 1,703 injured.
It also reported that 753 bodies have been recovered from beneath the rubble of buildings destroyed during the war, while additional victims remain trapped under debris, with rescue teams unable to reach them due to ongoing constraints and damage to infrastructure.
