Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Shaya Zindani received a letter from the Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani.
The letter deals with bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and prospects for enhancing cooperation.
The Italian Deputy Prime Minister extended his congratulations to Zindani on the formation of the new government under his leadership and on the renewal of his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.
He conveyed his wishes for success, affirming that this will ensure continuity and provide additional momentum to dialogue between the two countries.
The Italian official also highlighted the strong and long-standing friendship between the two nations, which will celebrate in 2026 the centenary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
He noted that Italy views this anniversary as an important opportunity to showcase the depth of ties and further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
