Coordinating Humanitarian Efforts of Relief Organizations in Wadi Hadramout Discussed

A meeting held Monday here chaired by the Deputy Governor of Hadramout Salem bin Sharman discussed mechanisms for coordinating and unifying efforts of relief and development organizations in Wadi and Desert of Hadramout.

The meeting, which included the Director of the Office of Social Affairs and Labor Ahmed Bahashwan along with representatives of 30 organizations working in the humanitarian and development sectors reviewed the key Ramadan activities and projects.

The aim was to coordinate efforts in a way that ensures broader outreach and access to the largest possible number of eligible families and vulnerable groups, achieving a more effective humanitarian and developmental impact.

The meeting emphasized the importance of strengthening partnership between official authorities and civil society organizations, as well as exchanging data and information to enhance the efficiency of humanitarian work and improve targeting mechanisms.
