Saudi Cabinet Follows Up on Efforts to End Yemen Crisis and Discusses Future of the Southern Issue

The Saudi Cabinet affirmed that the Kingdom’s launch of a package of development projects and programs for the Republic of Yemen reflects its continued support for the Yemeni people, efforts to enhance their security and stability, and its contribution to improving living conditions across all sectors.

During its session held today and chaired by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Cabinet noted its ongoing work to end the Yemeni crisis. It also highlighted continued efforts regarding the future of the Southern Issue through the Riyadh Conference, with the objective of developing a comprehensive vision for just and sustainable solutions.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Cabinet also underscored the Kingdom’s ranking as second globally and first in the Arab world among donor countries in the provision of humanitarian and relief assistance.

Saudi Arabia topped the list of the largest donors to Yemen in 2025, based on the United Nations Financial Tracking Platform, reinforcing the Kingdom’s leadership role and longstanding record of humanitarian giving and assistance to those in need worldwide.
