The Federal Republic of Somalia confirmed its firm and principled stance in support of the sovereignty of the Republic of Yemen, its unity, security, stability and the integrity of its territories; categorically rejects any attempts or interventions that could undermine Yemen's unity or affect its constitutional legitimacy and national institutions.
In a statement published by the Somali National News Agency (SONNA), Somalia reiterated its full support for Yemeni legitimacy, based on its firm belief in the importance of peaceful political solutions led by the Yemenis themselves, in a way that preserves the state's sovereignty and achieves the aspirations of the Yemeni brotherly people in security, stability and development.
It also affirmed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its efforts to enhance regional security and stability and its rejection of any threats to the security of the Kingdom, international navigation or the stability of the countries in the region.
