The Chairman of Customs Authority Abdel-Hakim al-Qabati discussed today, Wednesday, in the temporary capital Aden, with the Regional Representative of the International Labor Organization (ILO) for controlling hunger in the Middle East and North Africa Anne Gabriella joint cooperation and coordination about the necessary procedures to ease the entry of humanitarian aids through different customs entrances.
The conversations focused on the mechanisms of the ongoing cooperation between the two sides and the facilities offered by the Customs Authority to the relief organizations, particularly the taxes exemptions and quick clearance of the relief shipments of food, medicines and necessary stuffs.
Al-Qabati stated that the Customs Authority is very interested in easing measures for the relief and humanitarian organizations to enable them doing their job easily.
