Yemen's Ambassador to Mauritania Dr. Salem al-Arada met Tuesday with the Mauritanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug.
Ambassador al-Arada stressed the depth of the distinguished fraternal and historical relations between the two brotherly countries, and the work to strengthen and develop them in all fields.Reviewing the latest developments in the situation in Yemen and the current challenges facing the government.
Ambassador al-Arada touched upon the Iranian destructive role in Yemen and the violations of human rights by the terrorist Houthi militias.
He stressed the adherence of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to a comprehensive and just peace approach in accordance with the three terms of reference, especially Resolution 2216.
For his part, the Mauritanian Foreign Minister stressed the depth of relations between the two brotherly countries, and the work to strengthen and develop them.
He uttered Mauritanian government's support for the Yemeni government.
