The European Union (EU) strongly condemned the attack by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias on the commercial ship (MINERVAGRACHT), which flies the Dutch flag in the Gulf of Aden.
Oil prices rose today, Thursday, ending a three-day losing streak, recovering from their lowest levels in 16 weeks, but expectations of increased supply from "OPEC+" next month limited the gains.

The European Union has strongly condemned the arbitrary detention of at least 11 UN staff members by the Iran-backed Houthi militia.
In a statement, the EU also condemned the seizure of UN properties and the storming of UN premises in Sana'a, which constitutes a violation of international law and the Vienna Conventions.
The EU has called for the immediate release of all detained staff members and renewed its call for respect for freedom of navigation in the Red Sea. The EU has also demanded an end to all threats and attacks against commercial ships.
