The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) has opened a representative office in Bulgaria, marking a significant step towards promoting sustainable forest management in the country.
The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Bulgaria announced the development, highlighting the organization's long-standing partnership with FSC.
The FSC's official partner in Bulgaria will be the Sustainable Forests Association, which brings together non-governmental organizations, experts, and businesses.
This collaboration aims to promote responsible forestry practices and ensure that forest management prioritizes environmental conservation, social responsibility, and economic sustainability.
