The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Abdul-Rahman al-Mahrami underlined the importance of the monitoring over the mechanism of the oil derivatives and gas delivery.
"The mechanism of gas and fuels distribution must be constantly and closely monitored", he emphasized.
During his meeting today, Thursday, in the interim capital Aden, with the Minister of Oil and Mineral Dr.Saeed al-Shamisi, he also highlighted the importance of controlling the smuggling and black market businesses.
Al-Shamisi detailed al-Mahrami on the Ministry's plans and efforts to develop the mechanisms of the distribution of the gas and oil derivatives.
The conversations also touched on the fuels supplies and the reasons that led to the shortages of gas cooking supplies over the recent days as well as the underway efforts to avoid the recurrence of such crisis.
The PLC's Member highlighted the need to enhance security coordination with local authorities to put an end to the attacks faced by oil derivatives transport trucks in some areas.
Al-Mahrami restating his full support for the security plan aimed at pursuing those responsible for these assaults and referring them to the specialized judicial authorities.
