Yemen Condemns Repeated Israeli Attacks Against Palestinians in West Bank
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has condemned and strongly denounced the repeated attacks carried out by Israeli settlers against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, including the crimes of setting fire to the Grand Mosque in the village of Jiljiliya and the al-Farouq Mosque in the village of Mazare’ Al-Noubani, north of Ramallah.

Minister of Water and Environment Discusses Climate Change and Water Security with World Bank

Minister of Water and Environment, Engineer Tawfiq al-Sharjabi, met with a World Bank delegation in Aden to discuss ways to enhance cooperation on climate change and water security.

The meeting focused on joint projects aimed at addressing the challenges of climate change and ensuring water and food security in Yemen.

The two sides reviewed the outcomes of recent field visits and meetings conducted by the World Bank delegation, which aimed to assess the current situation and identify opportunities for supporting key development sectors.

Al-Sharjabi praised the efforts of the World Bank delegation and the fruitful discussions held with the ministry's team.

He emphasized that these agreements will drive environmental and development work in Yemen, particularly in light of the growing challenges of climate change and resource scarcity.

The minister stressed the importance of continued partnership with the World Bank and international financing institutions in supporting Yemen's development efforts and enhancing its capacity to adapt to climate change and ensure water and food security.
