Kuwait has reaffirmed its commitment to a peaceful resolution of the Yemeni crisis, based on the Gulf Initiative, the National Dialogue Conference outcomes, and UN Security Council Resolution 2216.
This stance was reiterated by Kuwait's Ambassador to Belgium, Nawaf Al-`Anzi, during his participation in the 7th meeting of senior officials on humanitarian aid to Yemen in Brussels.
Al-`Anzi emphasized the importance of intensifying international efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people and achieve stability in the country. He highlighted Kuwait's humanitarian contributions to Yemen, including the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development's role in implementing vital infrastructure projects to improve the lives of Yemenis.
