Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mustafa Noaman met with the French Ambassador to Yemen Catherine Corm-Kammoun here today.

The two sides exchanged perspectives on the US decision to classify the Houthi militia as an "international terrorist organization", and the government measures taken to confront the potential impacts on the lives of citizens in areas under the control of the Houthi militia.

The French ambassador affirmed her country's position in support of the international efforts aimed at achieving peace and reaching a political solution in Yemen, renewing her country's support for the Presidential Leadership Council, the Yemeni government and the Yemeni people.
