Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak met the Chairman of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Senator James Risch at the end of a successful visit to the US capital.
Talks went over the bilateral relations and ways to enhance them, the existing partnership between the two countries to ensure the security and stability of Yemen and the region and international trade corridors in the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea, and combating terrorism.
The premier expressed congratulations to the US over the success of the presidential and legislative elections in the country.
