A UNDP delegation along with the Deputy Governor of Marib Dr. Abd-Rabbu Miftah visited the Industrial Technical Institute in Marib today.

The UN delegation and deputy governor Miftah were briefed by the deputy manager of the Technical and Vocational Education ministry branch in the governorate Naji Miftah and by the chief of the Institute Mahmoud Al-Dheeb on the progress of furnishing classrooms and training workshops for the sections of surveying and roads; electricity, refrigeration and air conditioning; mobile maintenance; and car mechanics.

The mission learnt about the needs of the educational facility to enhance its absorptive and specialized capacities to perform its vital and influential role in training professions.
