King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's Demining Project in Yemen, known as "MASAM" managed to remove 1,765 of landmines, unexploded ordnances (UXO) and improvised explosive devices (IED) in the last week February 2026.

MASAM removes 720 Houthis-laid landmines in a week

King Salman Humanitarian and Relief Center's Demining Project in Yemen called "MASAM" removed 720 of landmines and unexploded ordnances (UNX) in the fourth week of this October 2024 from different Yemeni governorates, all randomly planted by Iran-allied terrorist Houthi militiamen.

The Center reported that 29 anti-personnel and 21 anti-tanks landmines were pulled out and 670 UXO were removed to bring total number of the landmines and UXO removed in October up to 3758.

It is important to note that MASAM managed to remove 467thousand and 431 landmines, UXO and explosives devices since it has commenced its demining mission in 2018.
