[30/09/2024 12:11]
MARIB - SABA
Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Sultan bin Ali al-Aradah, affirmed that building a strong national army is a fundamental pillar for the stability of the state, the restoration of its hijacked institutions, and facing various challenges.

This was stated in his speech during the graduation ceremony of the third session of specialized training courses for the Operations Authority (Commanders of Armored Brigades, Drone Operations, Military Engineering, and Cybersecurity) in Marib.

General al-Aradah stressed the importance of training and qualifying members of the armed forces and security, and adopting sound and modern foundations in training that contribute to improving their capabilities and developing their skills in using modern weapons and technology, as well as enhancing their efficiency in planning and execution in various combat environments.

He indicated that the training period is not merely a time for theoretical preparation and practical application, but rather a period for shaping the mindset of the fighter, instilling national values, and enhancing their sense of responsibility. He emphasized that true strength does not come from weapons and equipment, but from discipline, commitment, loyalty to God and the homeland, and adherence to principles and constants.

Al-Aradah pointed out that wars are no longer solely dependent on physical strength and military equipment, as the transition from traditional methods to modern means has become an urgent necessity given the rapid technological developments currently being witnessed worldwide.

He highlighted the importance of developing military systems and strategies that align with future war challenges, ranging from advanced electronic systems to drones, smart weapons, and cybersecurity, to enhance the efficiency and combat capability that allows the armed forces and security to carry out missions with higher precision and less human effort, improving response and execution speed. He also emphasized the need to utilize modern electronic warfare tools, invest in technology, and encourage innovation to ensure military superiority.

Addressing the heroes of the armed forces, security, and popular resistance, al-Aradah said, "You have been and continue to be the safety valve of Yemen and its strong fortress. You have proven to everyone that you are the loyal sons of Yemen who have bravely and courageously taken on the responsibility of defending the homeland. You have always been on the front lines, sacrificing everything to keep Yemen's flag flying high in the skies of dignity, freedom, and honor."

"The homeland relies on you and those like you, placing its hopes in you. Continue your journey with unwavering determination, and remember that every effort you make to protect the homeland and raise its flag, and to enhance its security and stability, is a sacred duty," he added.

For his part, the Head of the Operations Authority, Major General Khaled al-Ashwal, clarified that the courses are part of the operations authority's commitment to specialized training and quality qualification for leaders, officers, and members of the armed forces.

The aim is to enhance their skills and knowledge, and to elevate their professional competencies, enabling them to perform their future tasks with high efficiency as they prepare for and engage in the battle to end the coup and uphold the values of the Republic and the goals and principles of the Yemeni revolution of the 26th of September and the 14th of October.
