The terrorist Houthi militia has kidnapped more than 270 civilians in the capital Sana'a and a number of other governorates under the militia's control over their positive remarks in social media regarding the upcoming national day September 26 Revolution Day.

Mayun Organization for Human Rights has indicated that activists including including members of the General People's Congress, journalists, educators, and other activists have been rounded up to jails over their positive mentioning of the national occasion or calls for others to celebrate.

The organization said in a statement the militia used their self-styled interior ministry units and intelligence units to terrorize and intimidate civilians into silence to dissuade the population under the militia's control from celebrating Yemen's national occasion.
