Yemen participated today in the first international conference on the care economy and social protection, held in the Moroccan capital Rabat, under the slogan (The care economy and social protection: a pillar for empowering women, creating job opportunities, and achieving resilience and family well-being).
Yemen's delegation was headed by the Ambassador of Yemen to the Kingdom of Morocco Ezzedine Al-Asbahi. In Yemen's keynote speech, Ambassador Al-Asbahi said, “At the present time, the economic crisis that Yemen is going through requires the need to give importance and priority to supporting the care economy for the sake of a productive society, especially the path of supporting and empowering women and creating innovative and renewable job opportunities for youth.”
