[22/05/2024 02:40]
SOFIA-SABA
Bulgarian and Croatian digital graphics are exhibited at the Kutlovitsa Art Gallery in Montana. The exhibition was organized with the assistance of Violeta Apostolova, artist and photographer from the Tenets Association of Artists and member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists.

The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) reported that the Croatian works are by Edvin Dragicevic and Maja Zemunik, lecturers in graphic arts at the Arts Academy University of Split, and five students of theirs.

The Bulgarian works belong to Desislava Hristova, professor at the National Academy of Arts in Sofia, Tsveta Petrova, lecturer in printmaking and visual arts at Sofia University, Violeta Apostolova, and Doncho Planinski.

BTA quoted Chairman of the Tenets Association of Artists Planinski as saying "In the whole exhibition there are no classical techniques, all are digital stamps that are computer generated.

This is the new trend in printmaking; classical techniques are very heavy and complicated. Computer graphics are becoming much easier and spectacular. The exhibition is on until May 31.
