Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak initiated Anti-Polio Precautionary Inoculation Campaign today, Sunday, in the transitional capital Aden.

The wide-scale operation is targeting around one million and 290 thousand child under 5-year age in 120 District throughout 12 government-held governorates.

The vaccination campaign is carried out by Ministry of Public Health and Population sponsored by the WHO, UNICEF and the Global Polio Eradication Initiative.

The three-day process is being carried out by 11 thousand and 742 health workers.
