Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak discussed with the UK's Ambassador to Yemen Abda Sharif the developments of the situation in Yemen and the region.
Bin Mubarak touched on the repercussions of the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, stressing the necessity of imposing a ceasefire and allowing humanitarian aid to enter the besieged Strip without any conditions, warning that the ongoing and unjustified aggression against civilians in Gaza threatens to expand the scope of the conflict and endangers the security and stability of the region and the world.
He said the Houthi militia is exploiting popular sympathy for the just cause of Palestine to carry out propaganda and misleading actions by targeting ships in the Red Sea.
