Minister of Oil and Minerals Dr. Saeed al-Shammasi discussed with the Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Engineer Tariq al-Mulla aspects of mutual cooperation in the field of energy.
The conversations took place on the sidelines of the Arab Energy Conference in the Qatari capital, Doha, which is organized by the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC)
Al-Shammas highlighted Yemen's desire to benefit from the Egyptian experiences in the field of natural gas, especially compressed natural gas as fuel for cars.
The two sides underscored the need to enforce the memorandum of understanding that was signed last year with aim of promoting bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the area of oil and minerals.
