President al-Alimi participates in Plenary Session of Arab-Islamic Summit

RIYADH-SABA

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, participated in the Plenary Session of the an Extraordinary Joint Arab-Islamic Summit held today, Saturday, in the Saudi capital Riyadh to support the Palestinian people and its legitimate right to defend itself and establish its independent state.

President al-Alimi is going to deliver Yemen's speech to the summit and held discussions with the his colleagues, the leaders of Arab and Muslim countries over the developments in the Yemeni situation and challenges facing Arab and Muslim nations.

The Yemeni delegation to the Extraordinary Summit includes Director of the Republic Presidency Office Dr. Yahya Ashua'ibi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed BinMubarak, Yemen's Permanent representative to Arab League Riyad al-Akbari and Yemen's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Shayea Azendany.
