Deputy Minister of Justice for the Documentation and Courts Sector, Judge Abdul Karim Baabad, discussed today, via video communication technology, with the Executive Director of the Children’s Criminal Justice Program at the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), international the Ministry’s efforts in implementing the juvenile justice project and the challenges and difficulties it faces.
Baabad praised the role of UNICEF in supporting children in Yemen, appreciating its efforts in strengthening the juvenile justice system in the country.
For her part, international expert stressed the importance of strengthening joint cooperation between the two sides to implement the activities and programs of the technical committee to strengthen the juvenile justice system.
