Chief of Staff, the Commander of the Joint Operations General Lieutenant Sagheer bin Aziz discussed Tuesday with the Commander of the US Army Affiliated with US Central Command Lieutenant General Patric Frank military cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, which was attended by Commander of the Special Operations Major General Ismael Zahzoh, Bin Aziz praised positions of the United States supporting Yemen, pointing out to continuous weapons and drugs smuggling by Iranian Regime to Houthi terrorist militia, which threatens security and stability in Yemen and diminishes peace efforts and resolutions of banning weapons.
He expressed hope of providing more support to Yemeni armed forces from the US and improving its capabilities to enable it regain the Yemeni state, realizing security and peace, contribute in fighting terrorism and combating smuggling.
