Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ahmad Awadh BinMubarak discussed Monday with Resident Coordinator of Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen David Gresley the ongoing of the first phase of the plan of rescuing Safir Oil Tanker and transporting oil into alternative tanker.
The meeting tackled the humanitarian situation and UN-led of international organizations efforts in Yemen.
BinMubarak praised international and regional support to implement the project and rescuing the marine environment from potential disaster with dangerous humanitarian and economic repercussions.
He confirmed significance of doubling efforts and mobilizing resources to support the state institutions on local and central level to restore its service role and alleviating severity of the humanitarian crisis.
