Reconciliation authority receives Chinese diplomat

Chairman of the Consultation and Reconciliation Authority Mohammad al-Ghaithi and his deputies Abdulmalik al-Mikhlafi, Sakhr al-Wageeh, Jamilah Ali Raja'a and Akram al-Ameri received Thursday Charge D'Affaires of Chinese Embassy to Yemen Chaw Ching.

The Presidency of the Authority discussed with the Chinese diplomat latest political and economic developments in Yemen and peace chances under efforts exerted by China in the region.

The authority stressed significance that the international activists should play their roles in Yemen's crisis file and renewed the legitimacy's welcome to peace efforts. The presidency of the authority also stressed necessity of deterring Houthi militia's stubbornness and failing international and regional peace efforts.

For his part, the Chinese diplomat praised efforts and works of the Consultation Authority, renewing his country's support to the Presidential Leadership Council and to the government.

He also confirmed his country's support to peace efforts through inclusive political settlement to solve all issues and files.
