Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Waed Bathib, discussed today in New York City with the Executive Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNPS) the projects and interventions that are currently being implemented in Yemen in the field of rehabilitation of basic social services in urban, semi-urban and rural areas, transportation projects, rural roads, water and sanitation, solid waste management, and solar electricity.
The Minister of Planning pointed out the importance of strengthening the office's role in Yemen, intensifying its work, expanding the rehabilitation of health facilities and supporting therapeutic feeding isolation units, in addition to mobilizing joint resources between the government and the office to increase funding for current projects, whether through the World Bank or others.
