Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Major General Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, stressed the speed of providing urgent solutions for electricity in the interim capital, Aden.

Major General Al-Zubaidi stressed in a meeting today, Saturday, in the presidential palace in Ma’ashiq that the deteriorating situation of electricity in Aden has reached an extent that the citizen can no longer bear in light of the high rise in temperatures and humidity levels, indicating that this requires the concerted efforts of everyone to alleviate the suffering of citizens and ensure the stability of service within its acceptable limit.

During the meeting, a number of urgent solutions to raise the production capacity of the power generation system were reviewed, and coordination mechanisms between the Ministry of Electricity, the Central Bank and the National Bank to provide the required funds to fulfill the obligations arising therefrom.
