Health Minister chairs technical meeting to prepare for campaign to promote maternal health

Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qassem Buhaibeh, chaired a technical meeting in the interim capital, Aden, today, devoted to standing on the preparations for implementing a promotional campaign for maternal health, in order to reduce the high maternal mortality rate and to deliver health services for a targeted group of mothers and newborns.
In the meeting, Minister Buhaibeh stressed the importance of working on preparing the basic guidelines and practical framework for the campaign and defining the aspects of its activities and its various determinants.
He pointed to the importance of the campaign in achieving increased access to and provision of health service and increasing the demand for it.
