The meetings deal with the latest developments in the economic and political conditions, the prospects for peace, the challenges and obstacles posed by the terrorist Houthi militia to peace efforts and their targeting of vital economic sectors, as well as the extent of progress in implementing monetary and financial reform plans, the impact of the terrorist targeting of the Houthi militia on the oil sector, and the seriousness of the food security situation. , and the prospects for external financing in accordance with the pledges of the brothers and the reform program of the Arab Monetary Fund and international bodies in the monetary and financial fields, and the importance of accelerating the delivery of those pledges and the implementation of the reform program to move forward in improving and stabilizing the monetary and financial conditions, as well as reviewing the domestic and external debt, and the overall developments of the oil and gas sector, and the necessity to accelerate the monetization of remaining SDR distributions.
The government delegation reviewed the latest developments in the economic, financial and monetary sectors, and the Houthi exploitation of the truce to wage a dangerous economic war on various fields and sectors of life, especially those that directly affect the lives and livelihood of citizens.
