MASAM removes 875 Houthis-laid landmines in a week

KSerelief Center's Demining Project in Yemen (MASAM) managed to extract 875 of landmines, unexploded ordnances (UXO) and explosives devices in the fourth week of May 2023 planted by Houthi militias in different Yemeni governorates.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that MASAM's deminers removed 11 anti-personnel and 165 anti-tanks landmines, 686 UXO and 13 explosives devices.
This brings total number of the landmines removed by MASAM since it has started its mission in 2018 up to 400 thousand and 70 landmines, all laid down randomly by Houthi militiaman in different parts of Yemen.
