Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Technical Education and Vocational Training, Dr. Khaled Al-Wusabi, discussed today, in the interim capital, Aden, with the delegation of the International Labor Organization headed by the Special Representative of the Regional Director of the Organization ways to enhance joint cooperation in implementing development projects targeting youth.
The two sides reviewed the importance of implementing the apprenticeship program in achieving harmonization between the outputs of the educational system and the requirements of the labor market, especially in such circumstances that our country is going through, and how the trainee can obtain life skills that keep pace with the needs of the markets in various professional and technical disciplines.
Al-Wusabi praised the efforts made by the organization in providing the necessary support to enhance the educational process in various scientific and technical fields and disciplines through the implementation of training programs and opportunities targeting young people in various Yemeni governorates.
