The Decree No. (42) of 2023 of the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, the Supreme Commander of Armed Forces issued Monday.
The decree approves decisions of the Committee entrusted with settling issues of employees, who were removed from their jobs in civil service and military fields in the southern provinces after 1994 war.
The committee was established by the Presidential Decree No. (2) of 2013.
The decree, which is based on a number of decrees and decisions; including the Presidential Decision No. (2) of 2013 regarding establishing a committee for solving issues of employees who were deprived from their jobs in civil service and military and security fields in the southern provinces, decided:
Article (1): The decisions of the committee entrusted of settling issues of those who were deprived from their jobs in civil service and security and military fields in the southern provinces to be reinstated to the service, to be promoted or referred to pensions in accordance with the attached lists of names on the basis of the following committee's decisions:
The Committee's Decision No. (3) for 9008 officer, noncommissioned officer and soldier of armed forces, security and political security.
The Committee's Decision No. (5) for 6460 noncommissioned officer and soldier of armed forces.
The Committee's Decision No. (9) for 10514 absentees of armed forces, interior and political security.
The Committee's Decision No. (12) for 4193 martyrs and dead of armed forces, interior and political security.
Article No. (2): The Committee's Decisions for solving issues of employees removed from their jobs in civil service field in southern provinces for retired and absentees regarding reinstating them in the service and to be settled in accordance with the attached lists of names and in accordance with the following conclusions:
The Committee's Decision No. (4) for 4135 early retired.
The Committee's Decision No. (7) for 9000 absentees of civil service.
The Committee's Decision No. (8) for 3200 early retired of civil service.
Article No. (3): The Government shall take executive measures regarding the approved decisions in accordance with this decree everyone in his field of specialization.
Article No. (3) This Decree shall be valid since the date of its issuance and must be published in the State Gazette.
