Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik inaugurated today, Sunday, the National Center for Forensic Medicine in the district of al-Mansourah in the temporary capital Aden.
The Center is affiliated to the Ministry of Justice and funded by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development.
The Prime Minister along with Minister of Justice toured the center's sections which include the laboratory and x-ray section, the tissue section, the toxicology section, the criminal evidences section, the fingerprint section and the morgue and mortuary section.
The Center is equipped with up-to-date devices and equipment for forensic science, toxicology examination, gunshots, fingerprint examination, x-rays, tissues, and anatomy devices. It also includes a specialized staff and expert in forensic sciences.
