President Dr. Rashad Muhammad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and his deputies, visited today, Friday, former President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi upon the invitation of the former president to attend a banquet Ramadan iftar.
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and members of the Council exchanged with the former president congratulations on the end of the holy month of Ramadan, and the release of hundreds of detainees from the prisons of the Houthi militia, including Major General Mahmoud Al-Subaihi, the former Minister of Defense, and Hadi's brother Major General Nasser Mansour Hadi, the former head of the Political Security Service in the governorates of Aden, Lahj and Abyan.
The council members, the chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council expressed his sincere congratulations to the former president on the release of his brother, Major General Nasser Mansour Hadi, and to the Yemeni people and hundreds of families who have reunited with their loved ones in these blessed days, hoping that this step will represent an entry point to closing this humanitarian file, and building on it in achieving a comprehensive and just peace in the country.
