Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Rashad al-Alimi sent Friday congratulation cable to President of Iraq Abdullatif Jamal Rasheed on winning the Cup of the 25th Championship of Arab Gulf by Iraqi Football Team hosted in Basra, Iraq.

President al-Alimi expressed best wishes to President Rasheed, the Government and People of Iraq on this significant accomplishment, which reflects active return of Iraq to its Gulf and Arab identity.

He praised good organizing of the championship and unique audience attendance in the new round of the gulf championship and the technical performance of all participating teams.
