Marib Local Authority handed over UNICEF on Thursday locations for implementing six water projects in Madina and Hareeb Districts.
Costing 750 thousand USD, the projects are financed by King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Activities Center and more than 1.5 million people will benefit from them.
Handed over by Deputy Governor of Marib Abd-Rabbu Miftah, along with General Director of the branch of General Corporation for Water and Sanitation Hussein bin Jalal, the projects are distributed on the City District, which includes three projects; rehabilitating and expanding Al-Salam Neighborhood Water Project, implementing water network to al-Sharika Neighborhood, Assahn area and implementing water project for al-Sharikah Neighborhood, Assiyanah area.
While the other three projects will cover water projects of Harib District and include rehabilitating water network, main tank and expanding and rehabilitating the Pumping line.
