Tareq Saleh chairs meeting for aviation committee to open Makha Airport

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council General Lieutenant Tareq Mohammad Abdullah Saleh chaired Wednesday a meeting for a committee from the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Metrology for discussing finalizing preparations for opening Makha International Airport officially.

Saleh confirmed that Makha Airport is a fruit of big efforts exerted for the purpose of alleviating suffering of people in liberated provinces and within efforts of activating airports before Yemeni people to travel from and into Yemen, adding that the airport enhances stability in liberated areas and will work under the supervision of the Civil Aviation Authority and Ministry of Transport.

He emphasized finishing equipment and preparations within three months to commence flights of civil aviation from different local and foreign airports, praising UAE support to constructing the airport.
