Yemen, IOM Discuss Aligning Interventions with Government Priorities
Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Afrah Al-Zuba met on Monday in the temporary capital, Aden, with Chief of Mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Yemen Abdul Sattar Issyov to discuss the organization's interventions during the past period and its priority plan for 2026.

Prime Minister receives European Ambassadors in Aden

Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik received today, Tuesday here in the interim capital Aden the Head of the European Mission in Yemen Gabriel Munuera Vinals along with the Ambassadors of France Jean-Marie Safa, Germany Hubert Jager and Sweden Tomas Orteilla .

They discussed a number of topical issues including the repercussions of the Terrorist Houthi militias' attacks on oil facilities, the government's actions to achieve the economic and administrative reforms and the needed international support to sustain the government's efforts to keep on reforms and allay the Yemeni peoples' suffering.

The Prime Minister stated that the government is keen to give the peace efforts a chance to end the war, to help in this it has offered significant concessions but the Terrorist Houthi militias seek to trigger violence and increase the conflict, went on further escalation by targeting oil facilities which can never be tolerated.

Dr. Ma'een defended the resolution of the National Defense Council about labeling the Houthis militias a " Terrorist Organization" due to the militia's grave violations and atrocities against the civilians, children, women, journalists, planting randomly landmines and promoting ultra-conservative sectarian and racist ideology.

The EU Ambassadors stated that their visit to Aden aimed to demonstrate support for the government, get first-hand information about the progress of the projects funded by the EU countries.

They also reiterated their condemnation of the Terrorist Houthi militias' attacks on oil seaports, ships and facilities.
