Today, the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen delivered 150 housing units in the interim capital, Aden, within the framework of the "adequate housing" project, which comes in partnership with the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-HABITAT) and with the aim of improving the living conditions of families in Aden.
The director of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen office in Aden Governorate, Engineer Ahmed Madkhali, explained that the development and economic support through the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen comes under the directives of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his Crown Prince, and with continuous follow-up from the general supervisor of the program ambassador Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber, in order to contribute to improving the lives of the Yemeni people, stressing that the project is a fruit of the partnership between the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, the United Nations Human Settlements Program-Habitat and Alwaleed Philanthropies.
