Finance minister emphasizes training customs senior agents

Minister of Finance Salem bin Buraik has confirmed necessity of qualifying and promoting abilities of customs senior agents and significance of their benefit from qualifying and training programs and implementing them on the real situation to be active partners with Customs Authority.

In his speech he delivered during participation in the final activities of the Activating Course organized by Customs Training Center here for 26 trainers of customs agents, bin Buraik confirmed keenness of the ministry on supporting training and qualifying programs to all the ministry's bodies to improve work and promote abilities of the cadre.

For his part, Chairman of Customs Authority Abdulhakeem al-Qubati confirmed importance of this activating course, which is the first of its type, and will be followed by other courses to be imposed on all customs agents as basic condition to get licenses for practicing customs clearance.
