Chief of Staff, the Commander of the Joint Operations, General Lieutenant Sagheer bin Aziz discussed Monday with Director General of Planning and Managing Policies in Japanese Ministry of Defense the Admiral Eghawa Hirushi cooperation between the two countries in military and security fields.
In the meeting held on the sidelines of the activities of the 18th Round of Regional Security Conference held here, bin Azizi confirmed significance of deep-rooted relations between Yemen and Japan and keenness of the political leadership on expanding cooperation and coordination in different domains.
He confirmed significance of reactivating agreements signed between Yemen Coast Guards and Japanese International Cooperation Agency.
For his part, the Japanese official confirmed support of his country to Yemen and its legitimized government, confirming that the Japanese government will take Yemen's humanitarian needs into consideration.
Bin Aziz exchanged memorial armors with Admiral Hirushi in expression for friendly feelings.
