On the sidelines of the 18th session of the Regional Security Conference (Manama Dialogue), the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, discussed with the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anniken Huitfeldt the Houthi terrorist escalation of attacks on oil facilities and tankers and its threat to the security of sea lanes.
Bin Mubarak stated that the continuation of the Houthi aggression by Iranian drones on vital installations in Yemen is a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and falls within the Iranian regime's subversive agenda in the region to destabilize security and stability.
He pointed to the grave Houthi violations against all Yemeni people, especially women, stressing the need for the international community's support for the government's actions to implement the decision to label the Houthis as a terrorist organization.
