The Energy High Council held its session today, Tuesday, presided over by Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik.
The Council has approved practical measures to conduct necessary maintenance of al-Hiswa Electricity Station in the temporary capital Aden in order to increase its generate-capacity prior the next summer time to reduce the shortage of.
The Council discussed suggestions about using gas to generate electricity in the two governorates of Hadramout and Shabwa.
The discussions touched upon the electricity problems, the possible solutions and the crucial reforms should be carried out to improve electricity services.
