Under-Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Mansour Baggash met here today, Monday, with the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Yemeni-Ukrainian bilateral ties and cooperation was key focus of the discussions.

Baggsh explored Ukraine's collaboration with Yemen about the commodity of wheat, highlighted the acute food crisis Yemen has been facing due to the Iran-backed Houthi militias-triggered war that has been continuing for the eighth successive year.

The Ukrainian diplomat confirmed his country's support for Yemen's unity, severity and its territorial integrity.

He also affirmed that his government is continued to be committed to provide Yemen with the wheat shipments to help allay the Yemeni peoples' suffering.
