Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Rashad al-Alimi participated Tuesday in a high-level work session chaired by German Chancellor Ola Scholz coinciding with Climate Conference COP 27 started on Monday here.
Participated by many leaders from across the world, the session touched upon needed international efforts to expand joint work to limit dangers of climate changes.
The session discussed negative impacts on climate changes, necessary supplies to reduce them, adaption with climate phenomena and the role of countries in supporting mechanisms to enhance global collective work in this context.
The session included burdens of wars and armed conflicts in many countries including the Republic of Yemen in addition to floods and storms and global warming.
