The SDRPY continued, at an accelerated pace, its development projects and initiatives in Yemen, through 5 development projects and initiatives in a week, among 224 development projects and initiatives since mid-2018.
During the past week, the Coordination Group for Technical Assistance and Capacity Development of Yemeni Institutions (TA/CDG) launched a capacity building workshop for Yemeni institutions, co-chaired by the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund, and hosted by the SDRPY, which was held in Riyadh from 1 to November 2nd.
The program also launched a project to restore Sayun Palace in Hadhramaut governorate, funded by the program and implemented by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), with the aim of contributing to supporting Yemen to protect antiquities and historical areas at risk.
The Program organized a workshop with the United Nations Development Program to enhance the existing cooperation between the two sides.
